Ariana Grande Inks her skin in memory of Manchester attack victims.

Ariana Grande has debuted a new tattoo in memory of the fans who lost their lives at her Manchester concert in May 2017. Sharing a photo of a worker bee inked behind her ear on Instagram, Grande included the caption “forever,” indicating that she will not forget the victims of the bombing that left 22 dead and over 800 injured. The tattoo appears just above her half-moon tattoo, a reference to the song “Moonlight” from her 2015 album Dangerous Woman.

The bee is a significant symbol to Manchester, according to Grande’s recent profile in TIME, which notes, “[The bee symbol is] a nod to the city’s hardworking citizens, the worker bees who built up the region during the Industrial Revolution. After the attack, thousands of people in Manchester got bee tattoos.” According to the article, Grande and other members of her crew all got tattoos to show their support for the city and the victims of the attack.

The one-year anniversary of the tragedy occurred last week. Grande acknowledged the anniversary on Twitter. “Thinking of you all today and every day,” she wrote. “I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day.”

Grande released her new single “No Tears Left To Cry,” the first since the attack, in April. It’s expected to appear on her upcoming fourth album Sweetener.
