On the PUNCH Saturday beats, rapper Ice Prince explains why he left Chocolate City:
I left because I needed to grow. My relationship with Chocolate City is the same. You can call them over there and ask them. They are my blood. Our relationship is beyond music. It wasn’t music that brought us together in the first place. We are family. There is nothing in the world that can affect me and Chocolate City. I have been there for almost six years. Nobody should babysit me forever. I don’t regret leaving.
“I’m still in the stage of putting my record label together. I told my fans they shouldn’t expect me to start signing artistes immediately. I am trying to learn the trade of bringing up an artiste. It might take me time but I will get it right.”
“She didn’t cheat on me. I never caught her cheating and I never suspected her to be cheating on me. I was the one that messed up. That is all I can tell you. It is gone now. I don’t intend to say how I messed up. Right now, I am single.”

“Two very important ladies in my life,” he captioned the post.
The two have actually maintained a friendly relationship since 2011, when Drake’s longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib was asked to work on a remix to “The Moon and the Sky,” however instead of a still young Drake, the British singer/songwriter put Jay Z on the official remix.
“ got an amazing opportunity early on in my career to work with Sade on a remix to one of her songs,” Drake said in a random interview with University of Kentucky basketball head coach, John “Coach Cal” Calipari, earlier this year. “I was this close to being on it, but at that point in my career, she went and put Jay Z on it, which is obviously understandable…But I missed that. A Sade moment. My star wasn’t there yet for her to hear me out. Since then, we’ve had a great relationship.”
In addition to the special meeting with Sade, the rap star gave London fans a very special show, where he brought out Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Skepta, and rising R&B songstress Jorja Smith.

Birdman and Lil Wayne Wayne have a long way to patch up anything left of their relationship. Birdman claims Lil Wayne’s Carter 5 album is dropping this year. Well, on Rick Ross’ latest album, Rozay had some words for Birdman about Lil Wayne’s situation. Rozay goes at Baby’s lack of paying artists and producers, sticking up for Lil Wayne and all those were wrongfully exploited by the Cash Money mogul.
In an interview with Billboard, Birdman responds to Ross’ record and dismisses anything said on the track.
“I don’t get caught up in hoe shit, man. I just keep doing what I’m doing and keep pushing. I don’t get caught up in that, I don’t play like that. I’m a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don’t lie, and that’s all I give a fuck about: numbers, and puttin’ them up.”
So with that said we will stay waiting on the release of Carter 5 and the beef will continue on with Wayne & Baby.
