Here is Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday 2 (album) (download). The new LP is the latest music effort by the rap music act listing a total of 22 songs.
The body of work follows up Minaj’s 2018 album, Queen, and 2010 debut, Pink Friday. Minaj also reissued her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty in 2021 and has teased a tour set to start in early 2024.
Speaking about the project, the American rapper had this to say;
“When I look back at a lot of my music, I’m like, Oh, my God, where was the me in it?” the queen of rap previously said. “So, for this album, I went back to the old game plan.”
Minaj revealed the tracklist via Instagram, almost an hour before the album dropped. The tracklist boasts collaborations with Drake, J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Future, and more. On Twitter, Minaj also revealed that Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas, helped produce the album’s intro, “Are You Gone Already?”
Back in June, the MC And Ice Spice released their wildly-anticipated Barbie soundtrack collaboration, “Barbie World,” reimagining the original “Barbie Girl” by Aqua, which arrived 25 years ago.
In May, Nicki shared the music video for the aforementioned “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” The Queen of Rap took to social media on Mother’s Day (May 14) to officially unveil the island-themed clip, which was filmed in the superstar rapper’s home island of Trinidad and Tobago.
