Having tons of social media followers may automatically make you into a target for ad companies and companies looking for ways to reach more people about their products and services.
Instagram is a strong social media platform because of its ease of use and less ambiguous User interface and even though Selena Gomez has the most followers, Beyonce‘s social capital on Instagram is worth more making her the most powerful person on the social network.

Beyonce recieves over $1 million for a single post on Instagram. According to D’Marie Analytics – she achieved a greater influence after her pregnancy announcement. This post even set a record for the most-liked after having over 10.8 million likes triumphing over Gomez’s top post reaching 6.6 million likes.

What makes her account so unique is that she only posts content of herself, and doesn’t follow anyone else – not even family members. Jokingly yet realistically, she could cover three college tuitions with one selfie on Instagram!

DJ Khaled’s Fiancée Finally Loses It Over His Snapchatting

DJ Khaled’s Fiancée Finally Loses It On Him Over His Snapchatting

DJ Khaled’s wait for the “Drake vocals” for a song from his forthcoming Grateful album has become something of a running gag on his social feeds, but it seems now as though his partner Nicole Tuck is finally sick of him asking about them.

In a series of Snapchat videos, Khaled can be seen asking his fiancée (pretty loudly) “Did the Drake vocals come in yet?” while she begs him to stop as she’s trying to put Asahd (their baby son and Khaled’s executive producer) to sleep.

After a few rounds of this, things take a turn for the profane and Tuck tells Khaled to “Shut the fuck up,” prompting him to jokingly ask, “Do you love me?” to which she laughs and responds “Get away from me.”

Of course, Khaled is not dissuaded and keeps asking, and keeps getting the same response.

Kehlani Covers ‘Galore Mag’ Talks Early Life, Social Media, Debut Album & More

Kehlani is continuously discovering herself through new experiences, some of which she fought hard to survive, but mostly right now she is just enjoying life.

While she had to postpone the remaining dates on the European leg of her “Sweet Sexy Savage World Tour” for hernia surgery, the 21-year-old R&B singer/songwriter caught up with Galore Magazine for an in-depth conversation, and sexy photoshoot in New York City.

During the interview, Lani spoke candidly about separating her public and private life, returning to social media while dealing with the negativity that comes with it, her early life as a budding artist, favorite morning music, inspiration for her debut album title ‘SweetSexySavage‘ and much more.

Drake previewed a new song from his upcoming playlist, More Life, featuring Skepta. From the reaction on Twitter, people are noting that he’s adopted the Migos/Lil Uzi Vert flow during his Boy Meets World Tour
On the first night of his rescheduled stop in Amsterdam, Drizzy in an oversized globe that changes shade at center stage ran through familiar songs like “Hotline Bling,” “Still Here,” “Fake Love,” and more.

Watch some footage below.

Near the end of the show, Drake made another announcement regarding More Life. He seems to hint that it’ll be released between February and March, which is when he makes three more stops in Amsterdam on Feb. 26, March 27, and March 28.

“I want to thank y’all for a beautiful first show. Thank you very much. I really do appreciate you,” he says. “And you know what the good news is? I know we got three more shows in Amsterdam right? But the best part about that is if you coming back to any more shows, More Life is going to be out, we can just do some whole new shit.”

The More Life project was originally set for release on December 18 but was delayed to Janaury and now we’re learning that it could be here as early as Saturday

The 6 God has been working on More Life since around October last year and during his recent interview on Cal Cast, he revealed that it’s a collaborative effort with Apple Music and will be released as a playlist. He also hinted that he will be dropping a regular album after “More Life” which he classified as an in between album project to please his fans.

“It’s something I’m doing in conjunction with Apple,” Drizzy said. “Usually, in between albums, artists would do a mixtape but I’m doing a playlist with Apple. It’s sort of the same concept. It’s not an album but it is a body of work I’m creating, just to bridge the gap between my major releases, to keep people excited, give people new music, let people know I’m still hungry.”

Off More Life project we got three singles: “Fake Love“, “Sneakin‘” featuring 21 Savage, and “Two Birds One Stone“. These three songs were premiered on October 23 of 2016 during Drake’s thirtieth birthday episode of OVO Sound Radio. “Fake Love”, “Sneakin” and “Two Birds One Stone” were released as singles six days later.

Drake’s “project playlist” More Life was originally slated to premiere this past weekend on Episode 39 of OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1, but Saturday (March 4) came and went without a whisper from the 6 God.

According to HDD—the same outlet that broke the news Future would release back-to-back albums in February—fans won’t have to wait much longer.

Drizzy finally announced the release of More Life for march 18th via Instagram

Reminisce Entertains Lagos With ‘The Street Party’

Reminisce Entertains Lagos With 'The Street Party'
Reminisce Entertains Lagos With ‘The Street Party’

Remilekun Khaled Safaru Aka Reminisce made it a night to remember for Music lovers in Lagos Mainland on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Ikeja City Mall, Lagos where the maiden edition of The Street Concert by Reminisce was staged.

The music was heavy, wavy and loud as Reminisce and Industry friends made sure they gave back to the street that kept on supporting them all these years.

Just as expected, the show kicked off with the emerging acts who rocked the stage with their personal hit tracks, while some looked jittery, others were dimensional and took over the stage like they own it.

Then later came the man of the moment Reminisce in his first outing of the night which turned out awful due to poor sound quality. Even though Reminisce carried on like there’s nothing wrong, but the crowd obviously weren’t feeling the headlining act’s performance as there was no cheering sound as just some awkward silence from the audience was observed.

Then there was the launching of the new ‘Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Plus’ limited edition which was coordinated by the ‘Alaga ibile’ himself together with some officials of the smartphone brand in which he is an ambassador of.

Other artists such as talented rapper Seriki who came out dripping in some Shiny Gold chains followed Eva Alordiah who gave a renowned performances of her songs ‘Deaf’ and ‘Kanayo’, before going into a swift inspiring mode where she took out time to lift and motivate the obviously surging crowd by telling them not to ever give up on their dreams no matter what life brings before them.

We later have other emerging acts such as the New school Fuji Trap and Hip-Hop act Terry Apala who gave a fair performance of his mini hit ‘Champagne showers’ and then we have Davido’s DMW new recruit, Yonda who performed his debut song ‘Las Vegas’ to the delight of those who can reckon with the song. His performance was followed by that of some decent acts such as Aquila records Baseone and Airboy, Capital Hill’s Mz Kiss, Ms. Chief, Chocolate City’s Ckay and Olawale of Project Fame and Comic act ‘Woliarole’ who all came out in turns to do what they know how to do best.

And on the wheels of steel was Reminisce’s Les Roses Rogue’s DJ Instinct’ ,City FM’s DJ Gunzee, YBNL’s DJ Enimoney, Chocolate City’s DJ Lambo, DJ Spinall who all took turns to keep the crowd in a frenzy mood all night long.

Reminisce came through with his second appearance of the night and was later joined by Seriki and Ola Dips for the performance of their hit street cypher ‘Feego’ and then came YBNL henchman, Olamide Baddosneh whose presence almost erupted the whole place with screams, cheers and shouts of his ever loyal street fans.

Reminisce left the stage for Olamide to take over after they’ve performed Reminisce’s ‘Local Rapper’ together. Baddo then later performed his hit records back to back from old to the new ones which of course includes the latest ‘Pepper dem Gang’ which brought his newly signed act ‘Davolee’ to the stage and had the fans cheering and vibing good to his songs. Davolee later performed his ‘Festival bar’ joint.

Other acts like Falz, Niniola, Dapo Tuburna, Harrysong, Big Sheff, Lord of Ajasa, Dremo, Mayorkun, Orezi , CDQ, Small Doctor, Koker, Wale Turner, Sexy Steel, Reekado Banks, Ycee, Viktoh and Oladips among others also came and showed love on the night.

Reminisce came out for his third and final round of performance but couldn’t go on for long due to time challenge as it was already a few minutes to midnight, and that bring us to a temporary end of the show because we later have Oleku crooner, Ice Prince Zamani who came in late but made up swiftly by dazzling the fans with gifts and a decent performance that brought the show to a perfect conclusion.

All in all, The Street Concert by Reminisce was a decent attempt for a free show and one couldn’t help but wonder how more glamorous it could have been, had it been it was a paid event.

Moonlight has won the best picture Oscar in an unlikely victory, sensationally defeating the strong favourite La La Land.

Directed by Barry Jenkins and adapted from an unpublished playscript by Tarell Alvin McCraney, Moonlight won near-universal critical plaudits for its depiction of the coming of age of a gay black teenager from a rough neighbourhood in Miami.

It defeated nine other films in the Oscar race: apart from hot favourite La La Land, it also beat Kenneth Lonergan’s grief drama Manchester by the Sea and the commercially successful Hidden Figures, about black female mathematicians who worked on Nasa’s moon mission in the 1960s.

Viola Davis and Mahershala Ali won their first Oscars for their supporting roles in African-American stories “Fences” and “Moonlight,” in stark contrast to the 2016 Academy Awards when no actors of color were even nominated.
