Jay-Z has recorded yet another milestone as the demi-god has just been inducted into the Song Writing Hall of Fame.
The inductees were announced by Nile Rodgers on CBS This Morning while Jay Z was further described as one who changed the way music is being listened to and also changed how to have fun with music.
According to Nile Rodgers; The 21-time Grammy winner was in a space where, even though he’s had more pop albums than anyone else, because he did it through rap. It’s massive. He has changed the way that we listen to music. He’s changed the way that we have fun.
The Empire State of Mind rapper also took to twitter to celebrate his new achievement as he dedicated the milestone to HipHop culture. See tweet below;
By the way, this is a win for US. I remember when rap was said to be a fad . We are now alongside some of the greatest writers in history.
