Vic Mensa reunites with Kanye West in the official music video for their collaboration, “U Mad”.
In the clip directed by Grant Singer, the 22-year-old rapper is first featured getting shirtless while rapping his bars in a red-lit room before appearing in a straitjacket in another room.
Midway through the four-minute video, Yeezy shows up from the darkness and spits his own verse in a DONDA sweatshirt, which has the names of his daughter and deceased mother printed on the back.
“U Mad” leads Mensa’s upcoming album “Traffic”, which is due out later this year under Roc Nation. The song is the second collaboration between the Chicago native and West that fans have heard.
The two previously teamed up for “Wolves” from ‘Ye’s next studio instalment, currently titled “Swish“. The follow-up to 2013’s “Yeezus” still has no official release date.
