After Kanye West’s social media drama because of his meeting with Donald Trump in December, he took to Twitter to set the record straight about their meet-up — but as of Monday (Feb. 6), those tweets no longer exist.
Upon deleting the tweets, West didn’t tweet anything about his rather peculiar action. Thus, the reason for the sudden deletion isn’t entirely clear, but TMZ reports sources have said Trump’s “Muslim ban” and other actions have made West change his mind about supporting Trump.
West hasn’t been the most prominent on Twitter as of late. His most recent tweets involve support for his fellow rappers Big Sean and Migos — who released an album Feb. 3 and Jan. 26, respectively — and a family Christmas photo from a month before that.
In the tweets, West declared that he wanted to discuss “multicultural issues” with the president-elect, adding that he felt “it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.” Following the controversial actions Trump has taken since taking office on Jan. 20, though, it seems West isn’t so keen about keeping a good relationship with the new president.
It seems like after hearing the rumors of his ex Selena Gomez dating The Weekend Justin aint feeling the Starboy singer. When asked how he felt about The Weeknd by TMZ reporters Justin replied he is corny and his music is WACK!
Toronto rap superstar, Drake has shattered is for the highest-grossing Hip Hop tour for his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future.
Drake grossed $84.3 million over 56 shows in 38 cities between July 20 and October 8, according to numbers from Pollstar. The average show on the tour drew a crowd of 19,793 fans who paid an average ticket price of $112.08. In total, there were 752,141 tickets sold.
The numbers would’ve been higher if not for an ankle injury that sidelined Drake from the last six shows of the tour.
Despite breaking the all-time record for Hip Hop, Drizzy just missed cracking the Top 10 out of all genres for 2016, coming in at #11. Beyoncé came in at #2 for 2016 by grossing $256.2 million with her Formation Tour’s 49 shows, while Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band took the top spot with a tour that grossed $268.3 million over 76 shows.
Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour was the second-highest grossing Hip Hop tour of 2016, pulling in $52.8 million over 41 shows to land at the 29 spot.
Kanye had previously held the record with Jay Z for their Watch The Throne Tour over 2011 and 2012.
Drake’s now prepping to head back on road for his European tour, which kicks off in Amsterdam on January 21 and ends in Cologne on March 16.
Drake’s promoted the upcoming tour by saying “special guests” will be announced, although Young Thug has strongly hinted at his own inclusion on Instagram.
Back in November, Kanye went off on one of his rants during the Sacramento stop of the “Saint Pablo” tour, and called out Jay Z & Beyonce for not having talked on the phone yet. Well it’s being believed that Kanye was referencing the fact that when Kim got robbed in Paris, Hov or Bey didn’t show their support or even check up on her with a simple phone call.
Now fast forward to today, and Radar Online is reporting that Beyonce is getting her revenge for his Ye’s outcry on stage last month. According to today’s report, Kim has since tried to mend their relationship with Beyoncé & Jay Z, but Queen Bey ain’t having it.
“Beyonce flipped out on Kim when Kim called her to try and soothe tensions after Kanye’s hospitalization. Basically she told Kim to never, ever, contact her or her husband again and said stuff like she thought that the two of them are made for each other because they are both talentless and pathetic!” – RadarOnline
Radar also reports that Kanye & Kim felt awful about going off on Hov & Bey, so they wanted to try one last time to make things better, and mailed Bey and Jay invites to the Kardashian’s holiday party last week. But the source claims, “The invite was returned to Kim and Kanye’s house with ‘Return To Sender’ written on the envelope!”
Again, who knows the true accuracy behind this report, but sure is interesting to think about, and it does kinda add up & make sense. Read the full report here
John Legend gave his thoughts regarding his friend and longtime collaborator Kanye West taking a meeting with president-elect Donald Trump this week. The Grammy and Academy Award-winning vocalist called the incident a publicity stunt and voiced displeasure over West’s stances.
Legend sat down with French television show Clique on Tuesday (Dec. 14) and offered his take on the meeting. When Clique’s host asked Legend if he’d be open to speaking with Trump, the answer proved that such an affair might never take place anytime in the near future.
“I don’t think it’s impossible to talk to him about issues, but I won’t be used as a publicity stunt. I think Kanye was a publicity stunt,” said Legend. He added, “I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump. I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country.”
Legend completed his thoughts by saying that Trump’s promises should concern the country and once more expressed disdain for West supporting the message in any form or fashion.

Kanye West has reportedly checked out of the hospital and joined Kim Kardashian and his two children back at his house. This comes a few weeks after West checked himself into the hospital after having a nervous breakdown while on tour.
Kanye West has been released from the hospital after spending the last week under medical care. Following what has been reported as a “nervous breakdown,” TMZ has confirmed that West is back at his house with Kim Kardashian and two children. He left the hospital under the care of Kim and his personal physician Dr. Michael Farzam.
Kanye will continue to receive “ongoing psychological and medical treatment” following his release from hospital. This is according to TMZ’s sources.
Over the last few weeks, fans have reported that Kanye had gone on major rants during his shows attacking former friends Jay Z & Beyonce, and shocking a lot of his fans by saying he would’ve voted for Trump.
This update comes shortly after reports that Kanye was looking to record music from his hospital bed. Looks like he’ll now be able to do that from the comfort of his own home.
American singer, songwriter, and musician John Legend made an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” on Thursday morning for an in-depth conversation with Envy, Charlamagne and Angela Yee.
During the interview the R&B crooner spoke about Hillary vs. Donald Trump and why you need to vote, the stop and frisk conversation, his loyalty to Kanye West, and the direction of his forthcoming 5th album, which is also the last one on his GOOD Music deal.
Ye and Cudder traded barbs last week, Mr. West returned with an olive branch during the Houston stop on his “Saint Pablo Tour” on Tuesday (Sept. 20).
“The most important artist of the past 10 years, the most influential, and I hope he’s doing well,” Kanye said, before reiterating. “I just wanna take this time out to say Kid Cudiis my brother and I hope he’s doing well. He’s the most influential artist of the past 10 years.”
Last week, Cudi lashed out at West and Drake in a Twitter tirade about “haters” and “clowns” in the industry. “My tweets apply to who they apply,” he added. “Ye, Drake, whoever. These ni**as dont give a Fvck about me. And they aint Fvckin with me.”
A “hurt” and “disrespected” Yeezy fired back at “Saint Pablo’s” Tampa stop. “Kid Cudi, don’t ever mention ‘Ye name,” he said. “I birthed you. We all dealing with that emo Sh!t all the time. Me, Pat, Don C. Don’t never mention ‘Ye name! Don’t try to say who I can do songs with. You mad ’cause I’m doing songs with Drake? Can’t nobody telling ‘Ye who to do songs with. Respect the God!”
Rumored Cudi rival Drake, who is reportedly working on a joint project with Kanye, also responded with a dig during a stop on his “Summer Sixteen Tour.” “You getting way too high,” he said. “You need to Cud-it.”
At press time, Cudder had not responded to ‘Ye’s olive branch. His last tweet remains the final note on his original Twitter rant: “From here Ill let the music speak,” he wrote. “As you were, peace and love to my supporters and true ones.”
South African Rapper Aka took to his social media on Thursday to express his views in regards to merchandise from his store as compared to that of his US counterpart Kanye West
Taking to Twitter as the doors of his store opened on Thursday, Aka shaded the quality of Kanye West’s merchandise being sold at his Cape Town pop-up store, claiming that it was made from “rubbish wholesale T-shirts”. Kanye West shut down Cape Town several weeks ago when he launched a pop-up store for his Saint Pablo tour merchandise in the city.
