The Jay Z vs Kanye West beef may just be super real. It’s so real that a Channel 4 in the U.K. will air a documentary on Jay Z & Kanye West. The documentary is called Public Enemies: Jay-Z vs. Kanye West. It will be aired Monday July 31st at 10pm.
The film highlights the relationship between the two icons. Its revealed how competetive the two are amongst each other. Also highlights their bitter differences which usually makes them bump heads.
The film sees contributions from the likes of Just Blaze, Touré and others as they discuss the similarities and differences between Hov and ‘Ye and the growth of their relationship over the years. It looks like a must-see.
Future clapped back at Jay Z for dissing him on 4:44 album. Future replied to Jay’s line “Y’all on the ‘gram holdin’ money to your ear,” Jay raps on the song. “There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.” With a picture of him holding the money to his ear with the caption “You aint got the juice”.
Future also replied to the other diss where Jay sent shots at Future for Russell Wilson possibly raising his son. On the song “Kill Jay Z” Jay said “I don’t even know what you woulda done, In the future other n***** playin’ football with your son.” Well Future posted a picture on IG taking offense to the Jay diss.
Snoop Dogg subsequently admitting that he had bootlegged the album after failing to ‘understand’ the Jay-Z owned streaming service.
He said in a video: “I wanna shoot a shout-out to Jay-Z: just dropped another motherfucking hot album, ‘4:44’. But you know what? I don’t got Tidal, so a n***a had to bootleg it to me. I’m on iTunes and shit cuz, I don’t understand that shit – y’all gotta explain that to me.”
Could the Lyrics on Jay Z’s 4:44 album have pushed Kanye to leave Tidal which is owned by Jay Z??
Not only is Kanye leaving Tidal he is now suing Jay Z & Tidal for 3 Million dollars he claims he is owed by them. According to TMZ, Kanye’s lawyers claim that Tidal had breached their contract. Kanye’s lawyers claim Mr. West never received a pre-determined bonus for bringing 1.5 million new Tidal subscribers after The Life of Pablo was exclusively released on Jay’s streaming platform.
Kanye also claims Tidal was supposed to re pay him for music videos his shot and they never did. Damn it seems the once close “brothers” are not close anymore
Now we all know how Jay Z likes to drop subliminal disses that keep your head spinning till you get the true picture. Well he has done it once again. No one can master this craft like Jay Z. Jay Z will have you thinking for weeks on what and who he said it about but some can be made clear as day. On “Kill Jay Z” off his new album 4:44
Jay took aim at his pupil/Little brother Kanye West.
“I know people backstab you, I felt that too/But this fuck everybody attitude ain’t natural/But you ain’t the same, this ain’t Kumba ‘Ye/But you got hurt because you think kumbaye/You give him $20 million without blinking/he gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck what was he thinking?/’Fuck wrong with everybody?’ is what you saying/But if everyone is crazy, you’re the one that’s insane”
On the same track he dissed Future with a reference to Russell Wilson and Ciara and his son “In the future, other niggas playin’ football with your son/You had lost it, 13 bottles of Ace of Spade what it did to Boston”
Kanye West took to the mountains of Wyoming to develop his next musical effort. Heads have been jonesing for new work from the man who made “Jesus Walks” and thank Yeezus our prayers have been answered.
A group calling themselves “Music Mafia” (yes, they’re the ones who hacked Drake‘s Twitter account) — has dropped what appears to be two songs related to Kanye’s upcoming album. The first, “Euro,” is a trap-esque beat if made in the dungeon of Metro Boomin’. Featuring the jiggy fly human being known as A$AP Rocky, the two make for a swanky, swangin’ combination that could get some play in a nightclub on a drunk-and-high Friday night.
Whether these are from recent recording sessions Kanye has been doing for his upcoming new album, part of which he’s been creating at a mountaintop resort in Wyoming but he certainly won’t be happy about it.. Last week, more than two dozen songs by Chris Brown leaked online from unknown sources which included collaborations with Lil Wayne, Wizkid, Sean Kingston, 2 Chainz, Tyga, R. Kelly, French Montana, G-Eazy and more. Both tracks are unimpressive but they do kind of sound unfinished to be fair.
Today, two never heard before Kanye West songs have taken the leak route — ‘Euro (Switch Hands)’ features ASAP Rocky while the other one ‘Hold Tight’ has guest appearance from all members of Migos along with Young Thug. A mysterious website called MusicMafia.to has claimed responsibility for the leaks. The songs even have a tag of the site but it’s unclear what the actual source.

The Weeknd starts off his new XO SoundCloud channel (which is reserved for “rarities, remixes, and other unreleased material”) in fashion by dropping two massive treats for his fans today, “Tell Your Friends” with an extended remix, which compiles verses from Kanye West, Drake, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Belly and Young Braised from various freestyles and performances (Nas’ verse comes from his Met Gala set, for example). On top of that, there’s “Secret Passionfruit,” a mashup of The Weeknd’s “Secrets” and Drake’s “Passionfruit,” which premiered on OVO Sound Radio.
Joining Ghost on the Canadian R&B titan’s song are Kanye West, Nas, Drake, Belly and — a bit amazingly — indie Vancouver rapper Young Braised, Pitchfork points out. The extended remix collects West’s verse from his previously released SoundCloud drop “When I See It,” while Nas’s verse comes from a Met Gala performance last year, The Weeknd has also shared a mashup titled “Secret Passionfruit,” which brings his Starboy smash “Secrets” together with Drake’s “Passionfruit” from More Life.
