Chemtrails Over the Country Club is Lana’s upcoming seventh studio album.
The record was originally mentioned by Del Rey in an August 2019 interview with The Times where it was referred to as “White Hot Forever”.
Del Rey shared the album’s tracklist and artwork. Alongside the artwork reveal, she posted a comment acknowledging the diversity of the people depicted on the album’s cover (who also appear in her new music video).
“These are my friends this is my life,” she wrote. “We are all a beautiful mix of everything—some more than others which is visible and celebrated in everything I do.”
She wrote that she’s “always been extremely inclusive without even trying to” and called out anyone making “comments again about a WOC/POC issue”—seemingly a reference to the social media outcry over a May 2020 Instagram post.
