After five matches without seeing a goal, Lautaro Martinez finally broke his drought with a great goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Inter striker Lautaro Martinez ended his five-game scoring drought and celebrated a goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage.
The Italian player closed the gap on the scoreboard after the goals of Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos. In the 35th minute, he took advantage of an assist from Nicolò Barella to beat Thibaut Courtois with a shot from the penalty spot that the Belgian goalkeeper could not save.
Lautaro Martínez had not scored since 13 October, when he scored a goal with the Argentine team against Bolivia. Since then, he played against Milan, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Genoa, Shakhtar and Parma without scoring.
In total, he has scored five goals in official matches this season: one with Argentina in the qualifying phase for the World Cup in Qatar 2022, three in the Italian League and one in the Champions League.
