The new single features on the upcoming Amazon documentary All In: The Fight For Democracy directed by Lisa Cortes and Liz Garbus, and “examines the often overlooked, yet insidious issue of voter suppression in the United States in anticipation of the 2020 Presidential Election.”
“Turntables” is her first original material since 2018’s Dirty Computer—besides last year’s Lady and the Tramp cover—recorded for the documentary which reckons with activism from the past and the present, and it streams exclusively on Prime Video starting Friday, September 18.
