Arsenal Have Officially Confirmed The Signing Of Jonathan Dinzeyi

Arsenal Have Officially Confirmed The Signing Of Jonathan Dinzeyi.

The 20-year-old has crossed the north London divide and will head into the Gunners’ under-23s squad.

The defender never made a competitive senior appearance for Tottenham but did appear for the first-team in friendly fixtures, and he exited the club when his contract expired at the end of last season.

Dinzeyi spent time on trial at QPR earlier this year but opted to stay with Spurs until the end of the season, and he’s now decided to cross over to join rivals Arsenal.

An Arsenal statement, published on September 1, read: “Jonathan Dinzeyi has joined Arsenal on a professional contract.

“The 20-year-old joins us as a free agent and will join up with our under-23s and academy players ahead of the new season.

“The London-born defender who predominantly operates in central defence, developed through Tottenham Hotspur’s Academy, where he played until recently.

“We all welcome Jonathan to Arsenal and look forward to supporting him with his continued development.

“The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.”
