Here is Calvin Harris x The Weeknd – Over Now (download). The song released with Mp3 streaming [320kbps]. The new track is the latest record from the music acts.
The Weeknd announced the track’s title, “Over Now,” as well as a release date on social media Saturday afternoon (Aug. 22).
“over now. friday,” he captioned some newly unveiled artwork for the collaboration, which is billed as “Calvin Harris x The Weeknd.”
“Brand new this Friday,” Harris confirmed on his own Instagram account.
“Over Now” will make its debut on Friday, Aug. 28.
On Instagram, The Weeknd posted a presumably pre-quarantine image of him and the Scottish producer (Harris is clutching three full red Solo cups and wearing a Coachella wristband in the shot), with the cryptic caption, “Don’t get too confused…”
It was first teased earlier in the week, when The Weeknd shared a photo of himself with the Scottish producer, and Harris put up footage previewing a funky and smooth R&B jam in an Instagram story.
In other news, Amazon Music’s summer playlist series rolls on with a sun-kissed selection from Love Regenerator, the alias of Calvin Harris.
It also features a number of his own originals, like “One Kiss” with Dua Lipa and “Promises” with Sam Smith. In addition to his carefully curated selections, he also shared a new exclusive remix of his collaboration with Steve Lacy, “Live Without Your Love,” from house honcho Solardo. Ahead of the release of “Live Without Your Love,” Harris shared a handwritten letter from Defected Records founder Simon Dunmore from over twenty years ago, when the then-blossoming producer submitted his first demo to the venerated label.
