The Eazy season arrives shortly after Young Gerald unleashed a slew of new tracks. Last month, the Yay Area spitter dropped “Maximum,” “Eyes Closed,” “Special Love,” “Get Mine,” and “Shake It Up.” It’s unclear whether any of them will live on The Beautiful & Damned.
Earlier this year, G-Eazy also dropped Step Brothers, a joint EP with Carnage that spawned singles like “Guala” and “Down for Me.”
G-Eazy’s last album, When It’s Dark Out, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in 2015. The project generated four of his most successful singles to date, including “Me, Myself, & I” with Bebe Rexha, the Kehlani-assisted “Good Life,” “Some Kind of Drug” featuring Marc E. Bassy, and “Random.”
rapper has announced that the album will be released on December 15th. The official pre-order will be globally available on Friday but some fan bundles are already up for sale on the official website.
Along with the release date, Eazy has also unveiled the official artwork which you see above. December 15 will also see the release of a short film based on the album, the trailer for which he has shared as well. It will be an Apple Music exclusive.
