DIVINE – Kohinoor (Album download)

DIVINE shares his new album called “Kohinoor.” Available for download and streaming, his latest music project lists 8 tracks. The Mumbai rapper has made songs in English (“Voice of The Streets”), Gospel (when he started penning gospel rhymes and found his moniker) and Gully rap (“Yeh Mera Bombay,” “Mere Gully Mein” feat. Naezy, “Jungli Sher”).

“‘Kohinoor’ is my personal story. It’s raw and honest. I never imagined that I would one day work alongside a legend like Nas (American rapper), but my success hasn’t made my past disappear. I am very proud of my roots, of growing up in the ‘naka’ and the beautiful video by Panini and JD shows that” Divine said.

The 2019 Bollywood film Gully Boy and the documentary Gully Life – The Story of Divine have served to expose Indian hip-hop to the masses. The former created a countrywide wave that made a real dent for the genre in Indian pop culture while the latter traced the story of one of Indian hip-hop’s christened stars.
