K-Pop music group SEVENTEEN have released a new album titled “An Ode.” Their third studio album is available for download and streaming. The album includes their promoted single “HIT” as well as their new title track “독: Fear.”
The album sees a shift toward darker, intense themes and tones in comparison to SEVENTEEN’s generally more upbeat and bright concepts in the past.
The album hit #1 in 10 countries on iTunes upon release. Within three days, “An Ode” had jumped over the total first week sales SEVENTEEN had recorded for their previous album, the EP “You Made My Dawn.” As of September 20 around 1:20 p.m. KST, “An Ode” had recorded 640,000 copies sold, breaking the 500,000 mark within five days of its release.
