Jagged Edge return to the music scene with a new song and video titled “Closest Thing to Perfect.” Available for download and streaming, the R&B music stars’ new clip was directed by RoyalRae. The main focus is on each group member’s moment to shine through their individual performance shots.
The music video is cinematic, with appearances from all members in different smoky settings which match the track’s vibes. Some fine ladies can be seen in the middle of nowhere and in an abandoned building with some painted faces. The track is bedroom friendly, which remains true of the group since their entry into the music game.
After debuting the new video, they announced via Instagram that their tenth studio album A Jagged Love Story will be due July 15. The project will serve as the follow-up to their 2017 album, Layover.
