The MTV Movie & TV Awards show happened on Saturday night at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, and viewers were able to see all the action from that show when it aired Monday night. Dwayne Johnson was honored with the Generation Award, while Jada Pinkett Smith accepted the Trailblazer Award.
Zachary Levi hosted the kudocast, where TV series and movies were honored in categories ranging from best hero to best fight to best kiss.
Rapper Lizzo and DJ-producer Martin Garrix, alongside Macklemore and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, were tapped to perform. Singer, songwriter and producer Bazzi was also in attendance to perform his hit song “Paradise.”
