R. Kelly Denies All Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct: New Report

On Friday (January 11), one of R. Kelly’s attorneys, Steve Greenberg, was interviewed by the Associate Press. He claimed that his client denies all allegations of sexual misconduct involving women and underage girls. Kelly is even denying all the allegations from the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series, although neither Kells or his attorney have watched the entire movie. “The allegations aren’t true because he never knowingly had sex with an underage woman, he never forced anyone to do anything, he never held anyone captive, he never abused anyone,” stated Greenberg.“Now, some producer went running around and solicited all these people, did a Jerry Springer-esque show and there is all this uproar. It’s disgusting.”

Greenberg is using a similar argument as other attorneys who have defended clients in the recent wave of the #MeToo movement. He is questioning the credibility of the women, the timing of the complaints, and the fact the most of these accusers never notified police or even complained.
