Stream Bongo White’s new reggae album Souvenez Vous.
Bongo White shares new music project titled “Souvenez Vous.” The new album contains 11 tracks in total amd opens up with Bongoman. Attracted by the protesting music, Bongo White finds in Reggae, a perfect field of expression to give free rein to the writing of his own songs.
Accompanied by his guitar, he develops themes such as the call to love and the condemnation of violence. Singer and songwriter, his songs take a critical look at our society and strive to convey a positive and positive message. In 2010 he goes to Guadeloupe and records his first EP, It is on his return, in 2011 that he forms the group “Bongo White and the Raising Souls” with various musicians from the Toulon reggae scene.
The name of the group will then be shortened to become “Bongo White” Alliance of a low-battery after-beat, a blues guitar, a resolutely roots keyboard and a powerful duet of choristers, the collective plays simple and effective. The musical influences of the combo are diverse. Soul, jazz, blues come to mix subtly with the atmosphere of a traditional Reggae game to serve the rebellious voice of Bongo White.
The fruit of this collaboration will be born original compositions that allow him to be noticed in 2014 by the association Tandem. Winners of the va 2015 springboards, they have already performed many concerts, and 1st parties of major artists such as Alpha Blondy, Groundation, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Pierpoljak, Clinton Fearon … (Zénith Omega, Festival of Neoules, Theater of greenery …) With these successful experiences, Bongo White and his band recorded their first album “Why does the world turn square?
