Watch Sergio Ramos caught on Camera hitting Liverpool goalie Karius in the face during Champions League final match

Sergio Ramos caught once again playing dirty soccer tricks to gain advantage.

German television unearthed a clip of the Real Madrid skipper elbow-charging goalkeeper Loris Karius moments before his first error.

Ramos took on the role of villain in the Champions League final on Saturday evening, injuring Mohamed Salah with a rough tackle that ended his night prematurely.

Salah’s withdrawal dramatically altered the flow of the match and defanged Liverpool’s attack, with two mistakes from Karius either side of a wonder goal from Gareth Bale deciding the contest.

But Karius’ first error has been cast in a new light after German TV station ZDF highlighted footage of the goalkeeper taking a heavy blow to the head less than two minutes before he bewilderingly rolled the ball straight to Karim Benzema to open the scoring.

Unsurprisingly, Ramos was the guilty party, clearing out Karius long after the ball had gone and smashing him in the side of the head.

Karius hit the deck after Ramos’ challenge and shouted at the referee for not spotting it. Karius appealed to the referee and his assistants after the incident, lying prone in the goal mouth clutching his head and motioning that Ramos had flung out an elbow.

It was one of many rather underhand moments from Ramos in the contest, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp likening his tackle on Salah to a wrestling move, while he also feigned injury as Real looked to grind out the victory.

Speaking after watching footage of Karius’ horror night, meanwhile, legendary German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn told ZDF: ‘I’m lost for words.

‘I can’t remember having experienced something more brutal from a goalkeeping point of view than in this final. An evening like this can destroy a career.’
