Adekunle Gold is a Nigerian born and bred highlife artist with a wholesome spirit, native roots and music that speaks to the world. True to his values, he is eager to get the show on the road saying, “Selling out seven venues in America in 2016 is what birthed the One Night Stand with Adekunle Gold tour. My dream of selling out a venue in London is a reality now too. It means so much more this time around because I get to share the experience with my band, the 79th Element. We’ve been rehearsing since January, I’ve never been this excited to share my music with the world. Expect nothing less than fire from this tour.”
Adekunle’s last foray into international touring, a 7-city tour with stops in cities across Europe and America, sold out. The ambitious One Night Stand with Adekunle Gold tour aims to further sensitize audiences to him, his home of Africa and set the stage for upcoming singles and an album dropping later this year. There is more to African music than afrobeats, the world is ready.
Bringing it all back home, the tour will close in Lagos. Further details on the Lagos show will be announced as the date approaches
