Video: Meek Mill – Young Black America ft The-Dream

With his name mixed in a bit of controversy over a beat down on Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree, Philly emcee Meek Mill is looking to spread a more positive message with a little help from The-Dream as he releases the music video to the single YBA. 
The clip sets the scene for a cautionary tale as Meek hops on the track to warn against the vices that tend to claim the futures of ‘young Black America.’
The video captures the essence hauntingly as we see young black men faced with the task of escaping a predestined path of destruction while inundated in an environment that seems to work against them.
It’s a well-executed visual that ends with Meek placing a Dreamchasers chain in the palm of the video’s main subject.
