Rap music act from Montreal, Wasiu returns with the politically-charged single “Snow Mexican,” where he looks to strike fear into the hearts of his opposition as he charges for the hip-hop throne.
Produced by Tibe and co-produced Dear Lola, the tune was inspired by a fake news story involving Donald Trump’s biased views. Chilling piano vibes supplied on the fitting instrumental give the rapper the perfect place for his convincing lyrics.
In the past, Wasiu has scored success with sports themed tracks like his ode to former Montreal Canadian “P.K. Subban” and the 2016 NBA Finals inspired “No Jumper,” so the aggressive but socially conscious track moves Wasiu into a different light for fans to witness.
Wasiu’s MTLiens 22 is set for release later this year.
