300 million streams later and No one can tell Drake that 2017 isn’t his year. The numbers simply don’t lie. When he blessed anxious fans with his summer-leaning More Life “playlist, he blew the record amount of streams amassed from his Views album out the water.
Drizzy now leads the pack of nominees for the forthcoming Billboard Music Awards. According to the nominations list, released Monday (April 10), both Drake and the Chainsmokers hold the top spot with 22 nominations. Rihanna trails closely behind with 14 nods, The Weeknd with 13 and Beyonce with eight.
Elsewhere on the lists—which include Top Artist, Top Rap Song, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top R&B Album and more—Frank Ocean, Bruno Mars, J. Cole, Desiigner, Future, Rae Sremmurd, Migos and a host of other radio faves will duke it out for their own award.
