JAYBeatz comes through right-on-time with another FIRE mashup. We need this collabo to come true one day, but for now we will be playing this at HIGH VOLUME.
The producer/remixer masterfully crafts a blend of three tracks that are perfect alone, but work wonderfully together as well. Drake is still the hottest in the game, The Weeknd is on another stratosphere of success these days, and since the release of her acclaimed debut album, Ctrl, SZA has finally been receiving the praise that she deserves.
Jay uses a combination of their respective songs, “Teenage Fever,” “I Feel It Coming,” and “The Weekend” to create an incredibly smooth mashup titled, “Weeknd Fever.”
Metro Boomin has been teasing the hashtag #Boominati over the past couple days, even sharing the artwork for his upcoming project that he said was dropping Friday night.
Well, it turns out he isn’t lying because moments ago during the very special airing of OVO Sound Radio, October Firm decided debut the first offering from Boominati called “No Complaints” which features Drake & Offset.
There was a very special episode of OVO Sound Radio that just aired Friday night on Apple Music which was curated by October Firm & Oliver El-Khatib.
The show kicked off with official versions of both Drake’s new “Signs” record & Majid Jordan’s “Gave Your Love Away” being released, but that was just the beginning. Immediately following that, Oliver El-Khatib decided to air a new remix of PartyNextDoor’s Colours 2 track “Freak In You” featuring Drake, before debuting another single from Metro Boomin called “No Complains” which also featured Drizzy & Offset.
Drake is getting ready to unleash a new track “Signs” , a release that will coincide with luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s Fashion Week show tomorrow at 8:30 AM EST (June 22,2017).
It was LV’s artistic director, Kim Jones, who originally posted the announcement via Instagram.
“We are very proud to announce that Drake @champagnepapi will be premiering a brand new song inspired by our #louisvuitton #pfwSS18 collection,” wrote Jones. “Hear it first at 2:30pm Paris time tomorrow on http://www.louisvuitton.com.”
A few moments later, the announcement was confirmed as OVO’s Oliver El-Khatib also posted to Instagram.
“New one from @champagnepapi titled SIGNS (produced by @ovo40) tomorrow for @louisvuitton SS18 show. I had the pleasure to curate the music for the show with all new music from @ovosound,” reads his caption. “Stay tuned. Thank you @mrkimjones.
We all know how big DJ Khaled’s songs can get and with Drizzy on a track it’s usually a smash hit.
We’ve heard it’s top secret but it’s no secret to the vocal talent Khaled has put in for this new body of work. Might be his biggest?? Well we have to find out on release date.
Grateful will include previously released song “I’m the One,” which features Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne. Last year, DJ Khaled released Major Key and Drake appeared on album track “For Free.” Drake shared his More Life album earlier this year.
“To the Max” follows “Shining” featuring Beyoncé and JAY Z, which landed No. 1 on Urban radio and Khaled’s first-ever Hot 100 chart-topper “I’m the One” with Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Quavo and Lil’ Wayne.
So here is a new track Off DJ Khaled Grateful album titled To The Max featuring Drake.
The Weeknd starts off his new XO SoundCloud channel (which is reserved for “rarities, remixes, and other unreleased material”) in fashion by dropping two massive treats for his fans today, “Tell Your Friends” with an extended remix, which compiles verses from Kanye West, Drake, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Belly and Young Braised from various freestyles and performances (Nas’ verse comes from his Met Gala set, for example). On top of that, there’s “Secret Passionfruit,” a mashup of The Weeknd’s “Secrets” and Drake’s “Passionfruit,” which premiered on OVO Sound Radio.
Joining Ghost on the Canadian R&B titan’s song are Kanye West, Nas, Drake, Belly and — a bit amazingly — indie Vancouver rapper Young Braised, Pitchfork points out. The extended remix collects West’s verse from his previously released SoundCloud drop “When I See It,” while Nas’s verse comes from a Met Gala performance last year, The Weeknd has also shared a mashup titled “Secret Passionfruit,” which brings his Starboy smash “Secrets” together with Drake’s “Passionfruit” from More Life.

After Thugger posted a high-quality teaser of “Issa” on his Instagram, fans have been eagerly yearning for its release.
Yesterday evening, they got their wish; a high quality leak to the track has been unearthed. But while the teaser video only showed 21 and Thug on a private jet as the song played, Drake has now also jumped on the track – which obviously features all three artists rapping about 21 Savage’s now infamous coined phrase “Issa.”
Although this is a rip-quality leak, the track goes off, hard. Featuring production from two of hip-hop’s biggest producers in Narcos and Wheezy, the polished version of the song already seems to be a surefire summer heater.
Forbes has released its annual list of the five wealthiest hip hop artists on the planet. The top 5 artists haven’t changed from last year’s list, though Jay Z has supplanted Dr. Dre in the #2 spot. Diddy and Hov are neck and neck in the race for rap’s first billionaire.
Forbes explained their methodology:
“In order to complete the Forbes Five list, we follow the same procedures used to calculate our list of the world’s billionaires: looking at past earnings, valuing current holdings, leafing through financial documents and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, other industry players and even some of the moguls themselves to find the details.”
Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has topped Forbes’ list of the five richest rappers in the world for a seventh year in a row.
The 47-year-old is worth an estimated $820 million thanks to his investments and lucrative deals with Diageo’s Ciroc, TV network Revolt, alkaline water brand Aquahydrate, and tequila firm DeLeon.
Jay Z follows closely behind with an estimated net worth of $810 million, thanks in part to his ownership of streaming service Tidal, Roc Nation entertainment company, and Armand de Brignac champagne.
Dr. Dre takes the third spot with $740 million, while Bryan “Birdman” Williams comes in a distant fourth with $110 million.
Drake is fifth with $90 million
So there you have it. The top 5 shot callers in hip hop.
1. Diddy ($820 million)
2. Jay Z ($810 million)
3. Dr. Dre ($740 million)
4. Birdman ($110 million)
5. Drake ($90 million)
TMZ reports that another woman, Sophie Brussaux, has hired two lawyers to get a paternity test from Drizzy and get the paperwork for child support ready. The woman was seen with the Toronto star earlier this year as he was touring Europe, and she claims she is three-and-a-half months pregnant, which would put the date of conception to around the time they were dining in Amsterdam.
The woman, a retired porn star, has what she says are text messages between her and Drake, which purport to say the following:
Drake: I want you to have an abortion.
Brussaux: I can’t kill my baby simply to indulge you sorry.
Drake: Indulge me? F*** you.
Drake: You do know what you’re doing you think you’re going to get money.
She says she’s having a girl.
Brussaux, also known as Rosee Divine, says she has text messages from Drake to prove he admitted to being the father and asked her to get an abortion.
The More Life rapper’s team adamantly denies that he is the father and says the woman, who hails from France, had sex with another famous rapper around the same time.
“This woman has a very questionable background,” the source said. “She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She’s one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. … If it is in fact Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
Drake reportedly shot down the rumors that he got Lace pregnant. Only time will tell if this new allegation holds.
