After dropping projects last year including the albums The Return of East Atlanta Santa, Woptober and Everybody Looking, Gucci Mane is ready to release another set in 2017.
On Tuesday (Jan. 24), the Atlanta rapper announced the name of his forthcoming LP on Twitter. “My new album is going to be called DropTopWizop #DropTopWizop”, he tweeted. While Gucci didn’t provide an exact release date, he teased that the offering would be “coming soon.”
Last year, Gucci earned his first Hot 100 No. 1 record when he served as a featured guest on Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.” After being released from jail in last May, Gucci’s first post-prison album, Everybody Looking, secured him his first No. 1 album on the R&B and Hip Hop chart.
