Just after his weekend’s performance at ATL’s Birthday Bash, where he brought out Migos, Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane decides to return to the scene today & drop off a new single with Chris Brown called “Tone It Down,” which follows up the duo’s latest collab “Party.”
Going in over the flute-driven production from Hitmaka, aka Yung Berg, the club-ready record finds Breezy handling the hook duties & crooning about his ballin’ ways & stealing your bitch, while Gucci lays down some hard, rapid fire rhymes in the process.
Gucci Mane releases another video from his Metro Boomin collab, Drop Top Wop, releasing the visual for his song, “Bucket List.”
Guwop shines like a star in the video. Throughout the visual, he shows off an abundance of bling and exotic whips which he’s acquired and been able to cross off his list. In one scene, he and his fiancee throw stacks in the club.
He proudly boasts of his spoils on the chorus rapping, “Bucket list, drop top ‘Rari, scratch that off my bucket list/Bucket list, make a match and scratch that off my bucket list/Bucket list, super bad bitch and she rich like Gucci rich/Bucket list, no more sellin’ bricks, that’s off my bucket list/Bucket list, drop top ‘Rari, scratch that off my bucket list/Bucket list, make a match and scratch that off my bucket list/Bucket list, super bad bitch and she rich like Gucci rich/Bucket list, no more waitin’ to get that off my bucket list.”
Wop has been doing a lot of list scratching recently, and is definitely in a great space in life. He recently called the last 12 months the best year of his life, during an interview with Zane Lowe. “You know when you sit down in a prison for three years it gives you time to think and just reflect on your whole life,” Gucci said. “And I feel like my life had got so out of control because everything that I was doing to lead up to it led to that ultimate collapse. So now I feel like when I got in there I started kinda like making an effort to say ‘hey listen, my life is going in a better direction.’ I started doing the things that I make, that you see now come to fruition.”
Speaking of things coming into fruition, Gucci finally released his long-awaited movie, The Spot.
Right after the release of his DropTopWop album with Metro Boomin last week, ATL rapper Gucci Mane make his return to the scene today thanks to his contribution to Fifth Harmony’s new single “Down.”
Off Fifth Harmony’s upcoming third studio album due out later this year, “Down” serves as the first offering from the ladies since singer Camila Cabello’s departure from the group back in December, but who better to fill her spot than Guwop right?
Gucci Mane the new Camila Cabello? That may be a stretch—even during a spectacular year for Gucci—but he does have the honor of being on “Down,” Fifth Harmony’s first song since Cabello left the group last year to pursue a solo career,The group revealed the news on Instagram, unveiling the cover art for the track. The artwork shows the four members of the all-girl pop band staring seductively at the camera in front of a background that contains the song title and artists names. “Our new single #DOWN ft. Gucci Mane @laflare1017 coming June Second,” the picture is captioned.

Mike WiLL Made-It releases a brand new 3D video for “Perfect Pint” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Gucci Mane and Rae Sremmurd.
In the video, a state trooper explodes, giant pills fall out of the sky and UFOs whiz by their heads as they spit from a red convertible whipping down a desolate desert road. It gets even weirder as Guwop turns into a miniature floating astronaut and Kung Fu Kenny pulls up in a flying vintage ride while a cyclone tears up the landscape.
Sound like a LSD trip? With the proper viewing glasses, it could sure feel like one.
Directed by Nabil, the crazy visual is definitely worth the just over four-minutes it takes to watch. The track comes from Mike WiLL’s star-studded Ransom 2 project.
With albums like The Return of East Atlanta Santa, Woptober and Everybody Looking, Gucci Mane is ready to release another set in 2017.
On Tuesday (Jan. 24), the Atlanta rapper announced the name of his forthcoming LP on Twitter. “My new album is going to be called DropTopWizop #DropTopWizop”, he tweeted. While Gucci didn’t provide an exact release date, he teased that the offering would be “coming soon.”

Last year, Gucci earned his first Hot 100 No. 1 record when he served as a featured guest on Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.” After being released from jail in last May, Gucci’s first post-prison album, Everybody Looking, secured him his first No. 1 album on the R&B and Hip Hop chart.

With the release date, track list, and artwork of his Metro Boomin’ produced album DropTopWop, Gucci Mane has dropped a new single off the project. “Hurt A Nigga Feelings” was premiered over at Worldstar, along with an accompanying video clip. The beat is pure Metro, boasting an ominous minor key synth melody paired with brilliantly arranged drums. Metro’s drum work is truly impressive; he always knows when to pull back and when to hit hard, a quality that and sets him apart from his legion of imitators.
Guwop rides the beat with swagger and singsong delivery, and if this track is any indication, DropTopWop promises to be some serious fire.

Gucci Mane just released a new song called “Eye Pray” Featuring Fast Life, Lil Yachty, Preme & Rich The Kid are teaming up with Red Bull Music Academy for a more intimate experience. The duo have collaborated many times, proving an adept combination when it comes to making trap, but this upcoming performance promises to strip things down to a simple vocals and piano combination. Zaytoven will channel his inner Beethoven, playing acoustic arrangements of his beats while Guwop holds it down on the microphone,”Eye Pray“
A recent photo from Bulletproof rapper Young Dolph reveals that he was in the studio with Gucci Mane and producer Mike WiLL Made-It.”Eye Pray” It’s unclear what the trio were working on, but clearly some unifying factor went down to amass such a fellowship. Perhaps it’s for something off Gucci’s upcoming Drop Top Wizop project. “Eye Pray” On that note, Guwop continues to link up with some big producers, coming off collaborations with Metro Boomin’ & Pharrell Williams.
Gucci Mane has already done several official remixes over the past few months, the latest one being Bruno Mars’ ‘That’s What I Like‘ but he keeps the ball rolling with another today. This time, he connects with Maroon 5 for their newest single ‘Cold‘.
The new version/remix of the song, which also featured Future on the original, gets an all instrumental in addition to a Gucci Mane verse Back in February, Maroon 5 shared the single “Cold” feat. Future. They return today with the remix, which features a new verse from Gucci Mane.
Bruno Mars sure makes infectious music and his smash hit That’s What I Like is definitely one. After releasing his “That’s What I Like” remix pack, Bruno Mars gets a fire feature from Ludacris to combine with PARTYNEXTDOOR and Gucci Mane for an all-star remix to his latest smash single.
This week, “That’s What I Like” helped Bruno tie Justin Timberlake for most No. 1s on the Pop Songs chart as a solo male artist.
Gucci Mane decides to team up with fellow ATLiens 21 Savage & Zaytoven for the new single “East Atlanta Day,” reportedly off the ATL producers upcoming debut album.

Meanwhile, 21 spits that pure savagery and raps about the shootings & robberies that he’s done on the East side as well. It’s safe to say this shit gon’ have the streets on lock, especially in ATL.
