Baseline artiste, Raoul John, popularly known as Skales, has revealed reasons for delay in the release of his sophomore album.
According to the singer, the recent controversies surrounding him is responsible for the bit of delay in the album release.
The album, which he titled “Never Say Never Guy”, wo according to Skales “The month of June has been a crazy month for me from record label controversy to different people saying some different things about you, being locked up, Banky W and Skales, even a lot of people asking Skales how Banky now eventually feels about Skales. To prove them wrong we decided to get into the studio and clear the air. Instead of sitting down and exchanging words, why don’t we just express ourselves through what we do which is music,” he said.
“Recording the song “Nobody’s Business” with Banky W, we thought about it like when people are going through stuffs, everybody has an opinion about what they have no idea about, which led us to sing the song,” he added.
It would be recalled that Skales and his former manager were embroiled in a controversy with his record label, Baseline Entertainment.
