Tinny Entertainment emcee, Ycee has addressed the diss he shot at rapper Vector Tha Viper during the Headies Awards this January.
Recall that while Vector performed at the show, he rapped about “Yemi Alade was looking for Johnny because walker had to walk”, and not long after, Ycee took to Instagram to reference that, adding, “lmao! WTF is that?” And then he added, “Punchline no be by force!”
Vetor fans dragged him on social media over that, and last week, Vector addressed that mockery, saying he ignored it because it is irrelevant. Now, Ycee, while talking about rising in the industry, speaks about what he feels about Vector and the whole drama.
On the diss he posted on Instagram which he subsequently deleted, the rapper said, “I didn’t know I had become a celebrity and that people were beginning to pay more attention,” he said, and explained that he never meant to insult because he is always playful. “I make fun of everything.”
