This is the first time that Brent Faiyaz and Tyler, the Creator have come together on a track. The R&B groove comes just in time for Valentine’s Day, as Brent laments about his leading lady who has been holding things down and waiting for him at home while the temptations of fame have caused their hearts to reevaluate their relationship.
Brent’s debut album, Sonder Son dropped in 2017. That same year, he added to his own solo work by teaming up with Dpat and Atu to form the group Sonder, releasing the seven-track EP Into. Later, that group liberated the track “What You Heard” last year.
