Eden Hazard has been impeded by injuries hr sustained.
When will Eden Hazard reappear? Roberto Martinez is still holding out hope that he will play in the final match of the Nations League this Wednesday, but he will most likely do so with Real Madrid next weekend.
Eden Hazard’s latest positive comes as a blow for the Belgian team, and a cause for concern for Real Madrid. But while the former are not throwing in the towel of being able to count on him against Denmark, the latter are hoping that he will be ready for the next round of the league.
Eden Hazard has not played with his national team for more than a year. First it was the injuries that marked his first months at Madrid, then it was coronavirus, and this season has been a mixture of a bit of everything.
He missed the pre-season with Madrid in September, he missed the October games(although he was called up) because he was not at 100%, and he has missed the November break after testing positive, twice.
In Belgium they are still waiting for him to play against Denmark, but there is no concrete timeline. After his last positive he would have to give two negatives in a row, and it is impossible for him to be tested and verified twice before the match. Belgium will have to wait until March to see him defend his colours again.
But there is time for him to play against Villarreal next Saturday at La Ceramica. Real Madrid are crossing their fingers because the coronavirus is taking out some of their key players.
