Posting on Twitter, Bieber wrote “FOUR DAYS”, alongside a link to a website titled jbsoon.com.
When fans click through to the site, the track title appears in large white lettering, set against a background photo of barren farmland.
Bieber brings Chance The Rapper along for his return. Released with a matching visual that plays more like a movie, Bieber is paired with actress and singer Ryan Destiny who serves as his love interest for the video. The song also marks the third time Bieber and Chance worked together following “Confident” and “Juke Jam.”
This is also the first song from the 26-year-old star since his album ‘Changes’, which was released in February. His manager Scooter Braun has teased it’s ”a new era” for his client.
He commented underneath the image: ”New era. Friday.”
Bieber also shared a photo from the song’s video shoot, which sees him wearing dungarees and covered in mud while sitting next to director Colin Tilley – who most recently directed the video for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s ‘WAP’.
Bieber has been busy during the COVID-19 lockdown, posting a cover of K-Ci and Jojo’s “All My Life,” taking on a hilarious starring role in DJ Khaled’s “Popstar” videoas a pinch-hit for Drake, getting new ink on his neck and re-teaming with Jaden Smith on “Falling For You.”
