Darwin Machis Has Got Coronavirus
Granada announced this Thursday that Darwin Machis had tested positive for COVID-19. He is the only player to test positive after the PCR tests the Granada players underwent on their return to training.
Granada announced this Thursday the results of the PCR tests carried out on the squad, coaching staff and members of the club. And one positive case has been detected among them.
The club revealed the identity of the player affeced. It is Darwin Machis and he was immediately told to self-isolate at home. He is “being constantly examined by the club’s medical staff,” the club says in an official statement.
Granada stressed that they had immediately told the relevant authorities about these results as well as “religiously following the protocol” in place if a positive case is detected.
Lastly, the Andalusian outfit announced that, as the protocol states, the rest of the squad returned to individual training on Thursday afternoon.
