Simon Cowell Sells Beverly Hills Home For $25 Million
Music mogul Simon Cowell has sold his “unapologetically lavish” five-bedroomed house in Beverley Hills for a cool $25 Million.
The 9,614 square foot property, which also features eight bathrooms, is in the exclusive Beverly Hills Flats neighbourhood, and Cowell lived there for five years, during which time he transformed it into what Variety calls “a high-tech fortress packed with custom amenities”, including a wellness centre and a million-dollar security system.
60-year-old X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent show-runner was also in the news this week after he underwent six hours of surgery after breaking his back in a fall from an electric bicycle at his Malibu estate.
Variety also reports that the .82-acre property’s amenities include a solarium, movie theatre, lap-lane swimming pool, pool cabana with a retractable roof, an at-home tanning salon, a state-of-the-art gym, two kitchens, and that wellness suite with spa and massage facilities, plus a steam room.
Cowell also owns a $15.5 million home in Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates neighbourhood, as well as luxury properties in New York City and London, and the $24 million Malibu estate he acquired in 2017.
