Megan Thee Stallion has escaped a bad situation where she Is Grateful to Be Alive. The rapper was taken to the hospital after seing Shot at Multiple Times.

The original TMZ story reported that Meg had a cut on her foot, which led to police searching the car and finding the gun and the arrest of Rapper Tory Lanez.

She shared a detailed account on Instagram today (July 15) of what happened over the weekend, when fellow rapper Tory Lanez was arrested on a gun charge after police officers found the weapon in his car along with the “Hot Girl” rapper and another woman.

“On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” she wrote in the public note in an attempt to set the record straight.

“I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.”
