Playboi carti’s track “Alma Mater” finally drops in full. The leak from the Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti talks about his childhood, involvement in the fashion scene and of course, the women in his life. The song is produced by his long time collaborator and friend, Pi’erre Bourne.
The song was first previewed by Playboi Carti himself on his Snapchat story in May 2017 and finished sometime in June 2017. The song has been one of the most sought-after Playboi Carti songs ever since it was previewed.
The song was considered lost after it didn’t end up on Playboi Carti’s debut album Die Lit. But to everyone’s surprise, a studio quality snippet of the song surfaced on the 23rd of August. On August 25th, the song leaked online in full.
“Alma Mater” is a known throwaway and will not be appearing on any future projects.
