Dreamville have released the music video for Sacrifices featuring EarthGang, J. Cole, Smino and Saba. The video is directored by Scott Lazer, David Peters, and Chad Tennies. The track is from their collective Revenge of the Dreamers III album. “Sacrifices” is the final track on Dreamville’s latest compilation.
Dedicated to Milton Ahdwele Fann and “all those who have passed on,” the video highlights the lyrical content of the song rather than simply presenting the story as visually as possible. It’s touching tribute to all the sacrifices these creatives have had to make, with Cole delving into his relationship with his wife according to Complex.
Directed by Scott Lazer, David Peters, and Chad Tennies, the visual spotlights the Dreamville rappers performing their respective parts in an empty warehouse.
