The University of Uyo swa its female students come out in protests over the alarming rate of robbery attacks. After being robbed two times in just 3 days, students of the University of Uyo have protested calling on security operatives to wake up to their duties. The UNIUYO Female Students Protest (Video) has gotten unto the internet and many wonder what is really going on.
It was also gathered that a victim of a previous robbery died some days ago after she was stabbed by the robbers.
Joyce Jimm who shared video of the protest on social media wrote:
“This morning uniuyo’s hostel was robbed again after we were robbed 3days ago.This time, they came with POS to robbed us of our money and a girl was stabbed the last time they came.We decided to protest this morning,we need security and not old men and Gatemen.Uniuyo is not safe again.”
