Joyner Lucas has dropped a new song titled “Broke And Stupid.” Available for download and streaming, Lucas’ latest song is a follow up to ISIS and Devil’s Work.
“I accomplished a lot for a n***a wit no album out & 2 mixtapes,” he begins, before elaborating in detail. “I’m talking in a sense of fanbase, features wit legends, nominations, packed out shows, Youtube views & streaming, major looks and co-signs, controversy, etc. not bad for a n***a wit no album out and 2 mixtapes.”
Joyner Lucas returned to his home city Tuesday, using the Main Street YMCA to provide haircuts and makeovers to members of the homeless population. The Y’s basketball court turned into a small barbershop and set, as Lucas filmed the makeovers.
Smiles on the faces of the makeover recipients — and of the few dozen fans who came out to watch the process — were as bright as Lucas’s neon orange jacket and sneakers.
