Hard Rock Sofa was a Russian electronic dance music duo formed in Smolensk in 2005.[1] Composed of Alexander Shapovalov and Denis Chepikov, they were signed popular EDM music labels like Axwell’s Axtone Records or Steve Angello’s Size Records. Prior to 2012, they have collaborated closely with another Russian EDM trio, Swanky Tunes. Their career has been suspended in December 2014, when shortly later Alexander Shapovalov started solo career under stage name Shapov.
Queen Sessi is a Pop Singer/Songwriter that hails from Uptown also known as the BX, New York. A Latina with a Caribbean background and a true vocalist. Her unique distinctive songwriting and melodies pay homage to the 80’s pop era and the disco divas of the 1960s. As a child her interest was always music. Born, a true entertainer, she participated in talent shows, community festivals, and pageants.
At the top of 2016 she premiered on Season 10 of The Voice and released her single, ”Finally Back”. Charting #1 on the house charts sparking the attention of EDM producers, shufflers and bloggers.
Within the same year striking collaborations arose with producers Sean Will, 40 Cobras, AUTOGRAF, KDL, Austin Millz, Dino Romero, Living R, & Zeff. The features are Caribbean inspired w/ electric pop synths & dramatic melodies unleashing the many different styles of Queen Sessi.
