Funambulista – El Observatorio (album download)
Funambulista delivers a brand new album titled “El Observatorio” packed with 11 songs. Diego Cantero launches in 2019 ‘El observatorio’ fourth album as Funambulisra; and the seventh as Diego Cantero, counting the three works that he signed with his own name before undertaking his pop-art project at the head of Funambulista.
His debut as Funambulista takes place in 2010 with a disc -of homonymous title and produced by Ludovico Vagnone- that led him to be nominated in the category of Revelation Artist of the Year at the 40 Principales Awards.
But it was ‘Quédate’ (Darlalata Music, 2014) the album that opened the doors to the public, with direct entry into the Top 10 of the sales list. This album includes some of his most emblematic songs, such as ‘Quiero que vuelvas’, ‘Ya verás’ or ‘Sólo luz’.
Then came the consecration with ‘Dual’ (Sony Music Spain, 2017), his great album of duets, with his most recognized and unpublished songs, accompanied by friends and artists of the stature of Pablo Alborán, Rozalén, Dani Martín, Antonio Orozco , Bebe, the Argentine Abel Pintos or the Italian Marco Mengoni.
As an author, Diego Cantero has composed for consecrated artists at a national and international level, such as Raphael or Malú. He has also written songs for cinema, television, advertising, solidarity initiatives and other projects such as Operación Triunfo or Eurovision.
