Drake Signs Jamaican Singer Popcaan

Drake adds a new signing to his OVO roaster. Popcaan is the latest addition to Drake’s OVO label. Drake traveled to Jamaica to check out the local talent at Popcaan’s Unruly Fest at Lyssons Park in St. Thomas.

During Popcaan’s set to announce his signature to OVO after years of flirting with the idea. Drake delivered his announcement in patois – later posing for photos with his new signee and Tory Lanez (also in attendance) to mark the occasion. Last I checked, the OVO roster consists of PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, dvsn, Plaza, Baka Not Nice, and finally after all this time, Popcaan, the true heir to the “World Boss” throne.
