Rico Nasty – Wanna Do (Song)

Rico Nasty comes through with her new single called “Wanna Do.” Rico Nasty dropped the song fans have been anticipating for some time. The track has been floating around in snippet form, along with a short clip of a music video, for months, though it did not appear on Rico’s debut album Nasty in June.

The songs’s production comes from The Real Chinoo, Tay Goes In, and Rico Herself. Rico spoke about the process of refining her songs for the album. “I was actually just watching Teyana Taylor’s interview where she’s talking about listening to the debut version of shit. Like listening to the unmixed shit and I was really excited for this project to drop because I had bonded with a lot of the songs that were like the unmixed versions,” she said.

“It was really cool to seeing [Kenny Beats] go back in there and perfect all the shit that I was like, shaky about. It was my first project where I was like, where I felt like one of my fans. I didn’t want to listen to the tape until everything was completely done. It was so weird, I was always like okay, checking back with everybody.
