Tyga enlists Cardi B for the remix to his hit song Taste. The song which initially had Offset drop bars to it has now included a verse from the Bodak Yellow hip hop star. The rapper, in the midst of a string of thirsty tweets craving her husband Offset, teased a new musical venture. “My baby shleep,” she wrote. “Should i go to my basement and do a verse for TASTE?”
The success of Tyga’s “Taste” comes as no surprise as the song is straight fire. With a hardbody but lowkey beat, catchy hook and T-Raww vocals that slide into just the right pocket, the track is definitely a banger. The rapper’s latest evidence of that is “Taste,” a ubiquitous summer-friendly tune that the Recording Institute of America (RIAA) has just granted platinum status.
According to the website, “Taste,” which was officially released on May 16, reached gold status on July 10. The record earned its platinum status just two weeks later, on July 24.
