Pharrell & Camila Cabello Perform “Sangria Wine” At Billboard Music Awards
Pharrell Williams and Camila Cabello took to the stage at the BBMAs and gave a during a live rendition of their most recent collaboration titled Sangria Wine.
Held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the duo set off to deliver on a performance set against a backdrop that included mounds of confetti and red hues, adding onto the sultry vibes initially induced by the track itself. Pharrell would soon vacate the stage to give the former Fifth Harmony member room to do her thing as she launched in a performance of her “Havana” smash sans Young Thug.
Cabello was up for four awards Sunday evening, including Top Female Artist which eventually went to Taylor Swift by the night’s end. At the moment, she is supporting Swift on the Reputation Stadium tour alongside Charli XCX. The run kicked off earlier this month in the first North American leg to conclude on June 2nd and will head over to Europe for Leg 2 before returning to the states on June 30th in Louisville.
Camila did go on to win the award for the user-voted Billboard Chart Achievement Award, beating out contenders Cardi B, Drake, Sam Hunt, and Ed Sheeran.
