Atlanta artist, Kairi MusiK has released his debut project, “Pineapples.”
A lyrical storyteller, he invites us into each record like a conversation that is easy for listeners to get lost in. His tone is unique; combining that with a balance of relatability and honest bravado usually reserved for much more seasoned artists, Kairi MusiK does something that hasn’t been done in a very long time. He has produced an Atlanta sound that is unique to him.Kairi MusiK is also establishing a SoundCloud presence with the recent release, “Prologue” (www.SoundCloud.com/KairiMusiK/sets/Prologue). The project serves as a literal prologue to his debut and gives you a little more insight into who he is.
Kairi MusiK, aka Kairi Al-Amin, is an up and coming Atlanta based lawyer/entrepreneur turned rapper. As the son of civil rights leader H. Rap Brown (Jamil Al-Amin), it’s safe to say that Rap is a part of him. A devout Muslim, attorney and former club owner, the diversity in his content comes from the life he’s lived. Simply put, Kairi MusiK has a story to tell and securing distribution via Priority Records has given him the platform needed to tell it. Pineapples is chapter one.
