Burnaboy Declared Wanted By Police Over Recent Armed Robbery Attack Of Mr 2Kay

The Lagos State Police commisioner, Edgal Imohimi, has declared singer Burnaboy wanted in connection with the recent robbery attack of fellow singer, Mr 2kay during a show at Eko Hotel.

According to Imohimi: “Four armed robbers carried out the attack and detectives were able to arrest one of their girlfriends who is identidied as ‘Matejero’ which led to the capture of the others.

During interogation, the robbers confessed that they were hired by Burnaboy, through his manager, Joel Kantiock, who was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna State.

They confessed to receiving a part payment of N50,000 before the job and another N50,000 was paid to the robbers directly by BurnaBoy when the job was done.

The bandits allegedly dispossessed the singer of a wristwatch, gold jewellery, phones among other valuables valued at about N12m.

While parading four suspects arrested for the robbery at the command headquarters in Ikeja, Imohimi said, “I advise one Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy to report himself at the nearest police station since all effort to locate him has proved abortive.

At the moment, efforts to apprehend Burnaboy is proving futile but we count on him to make himself available for questioning immediately.”
