G Herbo had announced that his highly anticipated Humble Beast album would be dropping on September 15th, with production from No ID, Da Internz, Southside and London On Da Track. While that production lineup certainly promises quality, this latest drop from Herbo confirms that he’s sounding hungry as hell, and this is only the warm-up. The Chicago rapper, who formerly went by the name of Lil Herb, has been building hype for a minute now, taking his time and setting his sights on classics like Illmatic & Reasonable Doubt. While those may be lofty goals, G-Herbo’s raw, street sound and real-life stories should lend itself well to a meaningful debut.
Now, Herbo has released a remix of “We Ball,” Meek Mill and Young Thug’s Wins and Losses collaboration. Over the Wheezy and Future produced instrumental, Hero sets things off by invoking his former alter-ego, insinuating a difference in styles between Herb and Herbo.As this remix skews toward the Herb side of the spectrum, it’s no surprise that Herbo is sounding raw, young and hungry on this one. “Wake up thinking feeling on some Lil Herb shit,” proclaims Herbo,
