English Premier League Champions CHELSEA begin their Premier League title defence at Stamford Bridge against Burnley and with the absence of the likes of Hazard, Costa and Pedro’s red card would be a test of resolve for the champions. 

Antonio Conte hands a senior Chelsea debut to Jeremie Boga but Alvaro Morata has to settle for a spot as a substitute. 
Brunley summer signing Jack Cork starts while Jon Walters and Charlie Taylor are on the bench. 

The game kicked off in a simple fashion and things took a turn for the champions when Cahill was sent off for a rough tackle in the 14th minute. 

Sam Vokes connected with a cross from the right flank and he beat the Chelsea goalie to put the away team ahead in the 24th minute. Ward for Burnley took his chance lashing home a powerful shot to beat Courtois again in the 39th minute.

Sam Vokes was at it again in the 43rd minute, heading another good cross to take Burnley 3 goals up in an opener that would shock a lot of soccer fans and pundits. 
The second half was on the way and Chelsea playing 10 men at home began pushing forward to make an attempt on goal and shots flew in from Alonso. 

70 million pound signing from Real Madrid Alvaro Morata came on and the star signing wasted no time following up with a goal to give Chelsea any form of hope in the 69th minute. 3-1!!!
Cesc Fabregas already on a yellow went in hard to win the ball and got his second yellow and was sent off in the 81st minute. 

Morata was in the works again with a flick of the head putting the ball in the path of David Luiz and the Brazilian defender took his chance putting Chelsea back in the mix for a chance of a draw in the 88th minute. 

Chelsea tried hard to get another goal but it ended 2-3 in Favour of Burnley.
