DMW’s signing, Aboriomoh Femi Raymond, popularly known as Dremo, has revealed how a call from Davido changed his life.
According to the singer, Davido believed so much in him that he gave him the opportunity to showcase what he got.
“I was in Ibadan when I got a call from my friend who is close to Davido, saying that they were at Atl, coming to Nigeria, that I should come join them in Lagos, that day I met David, I was excited to meet David, we went out clubbing.”
Dremo, who was so excited to meet Davido, said,
“I entered the studio, saw a picture of Fela and I got information about Fela, and I started writing about Fela, and David came to the studio, normally he doesn’t drop his laptop for anybody, but he heard the song and he was feeling it, then he gave me the laptop to finish.”
The fast rising act, recently signed on to HKN alongside Mayorkun. His unique style sets him apart from other Nigerian artist.
Dremo’s dedication to music has kept him going higher in the industry and he has worked with some of the best producers in the Nigerian music industry, the likes of Legendary Beatz, D-tuned, Shizzy and others.
